In days of old
When campers were bold
There stood unique Wolf cabin
The counselors were great
There was no debate
Well disciplined it had been
With the iron-fist of Greg Schatten
Much anguish there had been
From hearing that voice again and again
My C.I.T. Garland was really quite
fine
But his two favorite fancies
Were skiing and Nancy
Which took up most of his time
But the cabin ran smooth
And as most others knew
The Wolfpackers had a lot of couth
As counselor of this cabin
Ill let you know how it has been
With these campers this year to date
The inspections were cake
The outcomes--Probate
The Wolfpackers were true reprobates
Schrieberhymer, Kriegermeister, and Engleburger
Whose yalp yodeling is like bloody murder
Are my three boys from Highland Park
From the start of early morning
These, three will be yalp yodeling
Till well past after dark
And then there is Nives and Urrea
Who were really so good to me-a
They would do whatever I say
Although when I asked them to clean up the cabin
I dont understand why there has been
Replies spoken in their Mexican way
Another who added Wolf character
Who will be remembered forever hereafter
As a classic as most will agree
Is our Budda better known as--Abdul
A camber quite unusual
So some would just call him Turkey
As nervous Mervis and mouth
Would go verbally about
Our minds would be tormented
And the torture wouldnt cease
Unless a fist was released
To leave his arms indented
Add to this one Schiller
Making every moment a thriller
And before long the counselor Could be a killer
Sometimes I wish I could leave them all
In rooms made of white padded walls
4 by 4 by 4 foot tall
Along with their white jackets
With no arms
So there would be no need for alarm
And to prevent them from causing
Much harm
But then Ill sit back and reflect
Knowing Ill never regret
Having been counselor for these
Brain rackers
They could drive me insane
So I must be deranged
Because Ive come to love them all
My Wolfpackers---Bill
