Disc ‘81
By Petroff Troutsky

At the start of the 81’ season I found myself in the thick of the wake among the ski department. As the weeks rolled on I realized that I was playing less and less Disc. I was almost humiliated by missing an easy putt to the ever competitive Mossler brothers. However, I managed to pull out a five under par and defeat them. The Disc golf course now looks run down, but the magic behind it’s tranquil holes still exists for Frisbee buffs of any degree.

This year I played Ultimate Frisbee (a team sport), for my school. I learned a lot about Disc play! I plan to push Ultimate play within camp to the point where it will be an all-camp ordeal.

I don’t place myself above any of you, but I can spot a good Frisbee handler. Personally, among the few people I enjoy playing with are, J.P., Gorchy, the Mossler brothers, Andy Milner, Billy Fried, Harry Stern, Greg Schatten, Steve Shacter, Nancy Hiken, Pryor, Dorothy Herlitz, Robby Schiller, and of course, Nano. I hope you all practice your Disc work and help make Disc 82’ a more promising at Timberlane-- but for now, remember, The hardest move to do with a Frisbee is to put it down.
