On July 22, all campers played the traditional game of Capture The Flag. The White flag was located at the end of the road by the redwood gate and the jail right by it in the barbecue area. The Blue flag was placed at the end of the main road by Arapaho cabin.

The game was played on a Blue & White basis, and each game was worth a point to the team who could win. The Whites tried to get the Blue team’s flag and run across the dividing line again without getting tagged three times by a member of the opposing team. If you get tagged, you have to go to the jail until somebody gets into jail to free you without getting tagged.

At the end of the evening program, the Blue team turned out to be victorious by a score of 2-1.
