FIELD DAY FOR TRACK
RECORDS
On July 16. Camp Timberlane had it’s
second annual track and field meet. The met began in the morning with
camper competing in all of the major events. Competition was based
upon age, and the participants were divided into junior,
intermediate, and senior groups.
Track and Field Day was originated by Mark Pearlstein, who introduced
the track program, and those who are able to set records have their
names posted in the lodge. These names are kept on the board until
the record can be broken by another person. This meet saw many new
records set, and the results are as follows:
