One of the most prestigious events in Camp
Timberlane history occurred on Sunday, July 30; when the entire camp
participated in an all-camp Tush Ball game. The object of the game
was to break the old record for most people in a game, the previous
record was 128 people, set last summer.
The game got underway right after dinner, with Harolds
mother-in-law, Nano, hitting up the initial ball. Honors for being
the first one out went to David Klain. H.H. participated in the game,
and was in past the halfway point. Mark Faiwell also took part, and
reached the final few before he bit. As the game rolled on, it became
apparent there were not going to be enough people to break the
record. So H.H. ran around and gathered every stray body he could
find. Eventually, there were 133 people in the game, a new
record.
The last two people in the game were Jon Heller and Brian Doner,
Finally, Jon Heller came through and won.
