nuf on lawyers...took my daughter to the Butler-UW-Milwaukee
game at Hinkle Fieldhouse yesterday. Hinkle holds about 11,000,
is 75 yrs. old this week, and was where the high school finals
were held for years, and the final game on "Hoosiers" was
filmed. Butler won by 2 on a last second 3-pointer. Sat next to
the UWM fans who were TOTALLY obnoxious yelling obscenities the
whole game, and had really clever signs like "Buck Futler!" It
was awesome gettin' in their face after the game...kind of a
mid-major version of Indiana-Marquette....oops I guess
Marquette kind of IS a mid-major. Sort of made me a little

Ahhhhh, Timber Hoops Talk!!! Sorry Shimmy, but w/ the loss of
Myles, the Cards are just too week inside....both offensively
& especially defensively. Do watch out for the Tigers of
Mempho State. They have an awsome inside out game, play very
good defense, are a legit 10 deep & can throw various looks
at you. Next to Kentucky, the are the hottest team in college
ball right now. If they run the table in Louisville at the
tourney, watch out! But, that would mean they beat a very
methodical, grind it out Marquette team, that's playing some
good ball too.

We seem to have some kind of computer virus going around. I
keep getting messages from Timber addresses with subject
lines(like 'meeting', 'lets be friends', 'honey'), no messages,
and a couple of attachments(usually one is a JPEG with a title
involving Spring Fashion, and the other is an executable file).
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know what's up? I have
gotten these from Mike 'Conehead', Pete Kaufman, Gazzoo, and
Lee Glicksman (maybe a couple more). Has anyone seen something
like this from me?

I've got an 'original', slightly-faded Timberlane sweatshirt
without WOODRUFF, WI printed underneath the logo. How much you
pay me Mister Brano-van-o-rino? I also have a
paint/blood-spattered Timberlane visor. The blood resulted from
Gazzoo unintentionally taking my head and kneeing me hard in
the nose right in front of H. The H-Man verbally took his head
off out of fear that he was goin' to have a Robert Young
hospital bill. I also have an orginal Timberlane banner, the
ones that were entirely velvet. Both visor and banner not for
sale.

Timber Virus
Some facts:
If you did receive a virus infected email, it most likely did
not come from the person in the return address.
The virus searches the Windows address book, the ICQ database,
and local files for email addresses. So if you keep your email
address's somewhere else, such as an AOL address book, your pc
is not forwarding the virus.
Here is an example of how it works: (from Symantec)
For example, Linda Anderson is using a computer infected with
W32.Klez.H@mm. Linda is not
using an antivirus program or does not have the current virus
definitions. When
W32.Klez.H@mm performs its
emailing routine, it finds the email address of Harold Logan.
The worm inserts Harold's email address into the "From:"
portion of an infected message, which the worm then sends to
Janet Bishop. Then, Janet contacts Harold and complains that he
sent her an infected message, but when Harold scans his
computer, Norton AntiVirus does not find anything because his
computer is not infected.
Here is what we need to do to stop the virus from going around
and around within our Timber community (the common denominator
here is someone with Timberlane email addresses of those of us
who have received the virus):
Update and run a CURRENT virus definitions table NOW. These
viruses reinvent themselves every week, if your virus
definitions are not current they wont find anything.

This removal tool
Hope this helps,
Bosco
