40th Year Reunion...you going?
Hey...I thought I'd kick things off by asking everyone who's
planning on going to the reunion next summer to leave a
message. Also, what are most looking forward to doing again at
camp? Me?...I can't wait to play some Tush Ball.

Hey All! From Heidi
Hey all! Just a note to let you know how much I've enjoyed
learning about camp. Bob and I vacation in the
Minocqua/Woodruff vicinity every summer. I'll be in the area
during the reunion at a place called Eagle Shores Resort in
Hazelhurst. Wives and children are more than welcome to join
me. I'm really looking forward to seeing (during your "nights
off") camp buddies and meeting the infamous people I've read
about in Timberlife and the newsletters! Just, no grundies
please!

The search for Beadle
I've signed up for the reunion. Maybe we could ask Mike Cohen
to keep us updated on the registrations. By the way, I've
spoken with Darryl Beadle and left him messages. He sounds
interested. Call him and urge him to get online. He's outside
of Minneapolis. His number is (612) 441-9155.

Reunion and more!!
First of all.....many bravo's to the Gazzoo's for their
incredible hard work on this site.. I plan on going to the
reunion and as in typical Marksy tradition, will be racing PUD
from Chicago to the northwoods. Anyone intersted in the race (I
accept no responsibility for crashes and tickets), let me know!
For the record, I am undefeated as PUD tends to stop at every
A&W.; Would love to go up a day early and play some golf at
Plum Lake with JP and others. Here's the question-- who's
staying in the cabins and who is getting a hotel-- we could
have an incredibly good time (late nite)taking an entire hotel.
(and sleep in clean rooms)Or I am spoiling the fun! Sleeping
with Vance Liebman (though I owe him bigger than anyone here
knows) doesn't really make me real excited!

MY NAME'S PUD & I JUST BOOTED.
Regardless of what all you idiots "think" will happen, Pud not
only will be at the 40th (in all his glory), but he was
probably THE first one to get his registration in....check
won't bounce because I faxed the form in with some credit card
I found in the street the other day. I'm looking forward to
taking all of your verbal, psychological, emotional and
physical abuse next summer. I've already begun fine-tuning my
infamous "PUD-SHOT" for some major trampball. By the way, I can
still make veins pop out of my head and neck when beltin' out a
DEW....I've been warned though that with my old age (I'll be 40
in 2000) that I need to be watchful for possible CVA
occurence(s). We're goin' on a POW WOW to Boon Bay in
Rhinelanderhey....

Dear Heinkings: I'm looking forward forward to seeing most of
you (Pud-shall remain nameless)at teh reunion. Both my brother,
David (1969-73) and I have already signed up. He is working on
Scott "Elmo" Halperin and I have contacted the Gubin brothers,
Richard Greenwald and Gary Wolf. Gazzoo----KEEP UP THE GOOD
WORK.

Poland 1984, 1986 rules!!
I have accepted the position as Captain of a UN day team for
the reunion. In 1984, my team, Poland, made their grand
entrance with pud on the roof of a bussette leading us in a
polish chant. Fortunately, this time, Pud will also be a
Captain. I prefer to compete against his weak team, than to
have him on my team. Also, I contacted Corrine to be on my
team, but she will be playing with Peter Kaufman that day. I
look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Poland Rules!!

Jesus..hi..uh..put down uh...I am speechless and in awe of such
technology. I would like to thank Danny Plattner and his
postulations of Corrine and I. Actually I want to confess that
I did once chase her naked around the Arrowhead...um...oops...I
was carrying a butcher knife at the time...let me
think..um...um...(hehe)...(haha) I want to give special mention
to Laura, my new best friend who kept me amused through
Thanksgiving dinner at the Gazzoos...Who else out there had
kishke on Thanksgiving?..We really did have fun and I want to
thank Heidi for the pie and all the trimmins'. As for John
Marks, perhaps he would get excited fantasizing about Pud.

HEY ALL YOU TURKEYS--
NOW I MUST MAKE ONE THING CLEAR ON THANKSGIVING - 1999....
Being Thanksgiving, this is NOT (and let me repeat)...is
NOT....a "LET'S REEM PUD" Board; rather, it should be construed
as a constructive path to express thanks and appreciation for
having Pud in your Life...As always, Mr. and Mrs. Robert D.
Gassel have dome extraordinary work, not only with the Site,
but also in introducing all of us to the true meaning of
"Interactive Thanks"...

Turkey Cam
Saw a bit of the Gazzoo-fest on the Turkey Cam tonight. Looked
very festive I must say. Garfunkel (Kitty Gazzoo) looks like
he's had a few birds himself. Pete looked like he had a kink in
his neck from leaning forward a trying to act interested in
whatever he & Laura were talking about. Bob was getting up
out of his chair every 14 seconds,...and the camera updated
every 15....so he basically wasn't on much. Nancy (Mrs.
P'Troffsky) looked fab and Heid looked like a cute, little
pilgrim girl. And now back to reeming Pud......

Puderific T-day @ Gazzoos
There's got to be a morning after, no not the Poseidon
Adventure, but Thanksgiving aftermath! I want to once again
thank Heidi and Bob for the great time and the plates full of
great bird, great friends, and a wonderful time to offer thanks
for having friends like Bob and Heidi. But before I leave I
want to say I will be at the reunion and look forward to seeing
everyone, except Pud...er, I mean pudding pops, you know, Jello
Pudding Pops!

Wouldn't Miss It
Thanks to the Gazzoo clan for creating/maintaining this site;
it's provided me with numerous opportunities to get no work
done. Definitely will be at reunion (even if Pud's going). I'll
probably be going up the Sunday before to enjoy the Northwoods
a bit. Anyone else going early, let's make some plans (I'll
skip the golf, but Pallet'izing and Duck at Little Bo's sounds
good to me).

Cabins vs. Hotel
Clean rooms or not, I think staying at camp is part of the
experience. Besides, I don't think JP wants to spend any more
time in the Minocqua jail due to some irate innkeeper. We
probably won't attract too much attention at camp, so why would
we need to take over a hotel? Might also miss out on the
opportunity to re-live some of the prime time camp heino-city.
I'll be lugging a sleeping bag and pillow accross the country
for this one.

Watch it Gazzoo...
...don't start anything here! And Peter, I think of Pud all the

Good time had by all...
Well I wouldn't miss it for certain. And it's about time Pud
got back on the tramps and showed folks from the next 15 years
a move or two! Having also been a part of those years I'm
excited to bring everyone together. There's a lot of good folks
and good times to be had by all. You who haven't been there
since the last one will be awed by what you see. The place
looks better than ever. As for me... Jambalaya at the Blue
Bayiou and a Boat House from Bosacki's... And viewing some
Northerns from the ski dock in the middle of the night..

Chad is Bad!
The Mossler brothers will be at the reunion...trying to arrange
some golf on the way up possibly at the American Club in
Kohler. Can't wait to see everyone!...P.S. my Chad teams would
have eaten up Plattner's pathetic Poles! For all you guys
picking on Pud...pick on someone your own size!

STUFF
First of all, Pud needs to be picked on.....he's a worm!!!
Second, none of these sorry teams could ever touch the mighty
Crow teams! Third, golf at the American would be great! Call me
and we'll come in with a golf set-up!

Who's Talking Pow Wow and UN Day All-Time Records?
Enough is enough for all of you Pow Wow and UN Day Victory
Wannabes---the record speaks for itself....the Marksy resume
reads like the Yankees, the Red Auerbach Celtics or the John
Wooden UCLA Bruins-- Inca, Thailand, etc... Inca 1973 was the
best Timber team of all-time. I always thought the key to
winning Pow Wow and UN was making sure that Pud was a leader
(last place was locked) of another team. Another way of winning
was making sure that Pete Kaufman and JP went to the Arrowhead
the night before. The opening speech was always good, but it
was usually downhill from there!

Sinkin' Inca
Check the records in the lodge Marksy (if they're still there),
Chad 1980 scored the highest PERCENTAGE of the available points
in Timber-history...there were less possible points that year
due to less events/smaller camp....
