The Derby
Anybody cash a winning ticket on War Emblem? The most basic
attempt at handicapping is bet on the best last Beyer speed
rating - War Emblem 115 at the Illinois Derby! Even better, a
$4 box exacta on Baffert (two derby wins) and Lucas (what, six
derby wins?!) paid $1900! Too obvious. Once again, I
over-thought (real word?) myself into a losing bet. I'm an
idiot.

A Special Bravo
Excuse me while I take care of some personal business...
I just want to wish the happiest of birthdays to the love of my
life and the mother of my child. This website wouldn't flourish
without your boundless enthusiasm; and neither would I.

Ok, but keep posting!
Ok, thanks for the Bravo GAZZOOO (it's my birthday and I'll
call you that if I want to!). My Bob doesn't let me call him
GAZZOO in public. It's particularly hard after we see camp
friends because I'm so used to everyone calling him GAZZOO.
Anyway, for my birthday...please resume all postings and don't
STOP just because Gazzoo wanted to say happy birthday. Thanks!
Bravo to all of you. Hey, Bosco...does anyone else have a
birthday today?

MAY 8 BIRTHDAY
Happy Birthday, Heidi. My brother Jeff turned 44 today, 5-8-02
(I believe). Aside from that, due to the fact that my RCA VCR
isn't compatible with DIRECT TV from a preset-programming
standpoint, I haven't been able to catch "The Bold And The
Beautiful" for nearly (2) weeks now and am very outta' sorts.
I'll need an update via email sometime, Heidi. Wholly
unrelated, has Gazzoo decided to block me from messenger or is
he blocking himself from all the world to
see?

Whatever happened to....?
New topic. Whatever happened to...? Ok, I'll start. Anyone know
whatever happened to Mark Abrams. He was my CIT, and JC for 3
years. Great guy from Great Neck. Was buddies with a guy named
Ivan Cole. I'd like to get in touch with him. So the question
is: Whatever happened to Mark Abrams?

Anybody know the whereabouts of Marshall Berlin, Joey Camodeca,

I used to run into David Gast in St. Louis. I told him of the
"Award" named in his honor. He actually had a sense of humor
about it. Also, I used to play hockey against his brother Ken
who was a Frat Brother of me and Harry at
Mizzou.

Get the Gong
Hello from the northwoods of Wisconsin. Hey now! I always get
warm and fuzzy inside when I come to this site. Hats off to
Heidi and Gazzoo, this is one great site. I can't believe what
I paid for my website and to look at this and how it kicks ass.
Bravo Gazzoo. Harry, nice to see you on the board, sorry I
didn't stop by when passing through this winter.
On a quick note, I wanted to let Timberfolks and Tom Callahan
fans know that Tom was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
He just had surgery and will be recovering for the next 6
months. I hear the prognosis is good and will keep Tom in my
thoughts. I hope he will come over to Camp Agawak this summer
as he wants to spend his recovery time here in the
northwoods.
Well it is pre-pre-camp time here. I know all of you remember
those days well. Any help would be appreciated. Having a girls
camp, I do not have 20 guys to move old freezers across the
athletic field and to the dump. I could use Pud for some CTM
work.
Sorry to be lengthy, but wanted to say hi and let you guys know
my heart still resides at Timberlane. You should see the stuff
Mike has done since the reunion, the place looks great. I hear
he has a new ski dock which means no more hernias putting it in
and out.
Bravo, Tonian Taco and a zozoss to all!

TERRAPIN STATION--A GRATEFUL
DEAD/TIMBERLANE FAMILY REUNION
Billford, I'd be delighted to work 4U, send contract ASAP
(Glazer). To the one who affectionately and with great malice,
named me "Johnny Flathead," threw loaded tennis ball cans at me
in the pitch dark of night in the Ghetto during many girls'
camps, and to one who made me question his very sanity (more
than a hundred and twenty-three times), we're all pulling and
praying for a full & speedy recovery for you, Mr. Callahan.
Aside from the aforementioned, those who are either in the
Midwest and/or elsewhere and are game to do Alpine Valley 8/3
and 8/4 for "Terrapin Station" (yes it's a weekend affair)--I
strongly suggest you either call or login to Ticketmaster or
mail order (like now) and check out details of this truly great
assortment of characters thru
www.dead.net (click on
Terrapin Station link). Ticketmaster tix go on sale 6/8/02 and
the mail order started 5/23/02. I just mail ordered today for
myself and tix amounted to $55.50 each day (included parking,
GDTS processing fees, etc...) Tell your wives NOW and get your
ticket orders in. Stop screwin' around and let's coordinate!
Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, Wisconsin...thanks and
stay in touch.
